Youth choir performing

Our Vision

Not a Choir. A Movement.

The Global Conservatory's Choral Arts & Youth Choir program is not about singing in tune. It's about singing with purpose.

This is where artistry, excellence, and global connection meet — across languages, time zones, and traditions.

From cathedral works to contemporary gospel, Renaissance polyphony to modern commissions — our singers are trained not just to perform, but to lead, to listen, and to build community through music.

This is a program for those who believe ensemble singing is an art form, not a school activity.

This is choral training for the serious vocalist.

Real Music, Real Impact

Global Performance. Lifelong Impact.

The Global Conservatory Choirs are more than rehearsals.

They are performances, recordings, showcases, and collaborations with artists around the world.

Our singers appear in virtual festivals, release projects, and even premiere newly commissioned works.

This is not a simulation of real music. It is real music — happening globally, in real time.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Our youth choir programs welcome singers ages 8–18. We offer training choirs for younger and developing voices, treble choirs, and mixed ensembles for more experienced young singers. Placement is based on age, experience, and vocal development to ensure every singer is challenged appropriately.
Not necessarily. While some of our advanced ensembles require audition and prior experience, we have programs for singers at every level — including those just discovering ensemble singing. What we look for is commitment, a love of music, and willingness to grow. Our training choirs are specifically designed for developing singers.
Virtual rehearsals combine live video sessions with our conductors, sectional practice, and asynchronous learning materials. For virtual choir projects, singers record their parts individually using provided tracks and instructions, and our production team combines the recordings into a unified performance. This allows singers from around the world to participate in landmark musical experiences.
Absolutely! We actively welcome school choirs and youth programs seeking partnership. This can include guest masterclasses with our faculty, participation in virtual choir projects, conducting mentorship for your directors, or customized training programs. Contact us to discuss how we can support your ensemble.
Our repertoire spans 10 centuries and 6 continents — from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary commissions, from sacred motets to gospel, from European classical traditions to world music. We believe singers should experience the full breadth of choral literature and understand the historical and cultural context of what they sing.
The Choral Conducting Mentorship is designed for both aspiring conductors and current directors seeking to grow. Whether you're a music education student, a church musician, a community choir leader, or simply passionate about leading ensembles, our mentorship offers score study, gesture technique, rehearsal design, and opportunities to conduct live virtual choirs under expert guidance.
Our advanced programs specifically prepare vocalists for college auditions and choir scholarships. This includes sight-reading training, solfège development, repertoire selection, audition technique, and understanding what collegiate conductors are looking for. Many of our alumni have been accepted to top university choral programs.
