The Vision

"The boundaries between arts disciplines are conventions, not laws."

Throughout history, the greatest artistic innovations have emerged at the intersection of disciplines. Opera combines music and theater. Ballet fuses movement and music. Film unites all the arts. Today's most exciting creative work continues to break down these artificial boundaries.

The Interdisciplinary Arts Lab is a creative laboratory where musicians collaborate with dancers, actors, and visual artists to explore the deep connections between their art forms and create new work that defies categorization.

Art Forms We Explore

Four Disciplines

Music at the center, with connections to dance, theater, and visual art.

💃

Dance

Music and movement as partners. Choreography, rhythm, and the embodied experience of sound.

🎭

Theater

Music and dramatic narrative. Musical theater, opera, sound design, and the voice as instrument.

🎨
