The Jazz Program at The Global Conservatory is the most advanced and comprehensive online training system for serious jazz artists. Built for musicians who demand more than information, this program offers an elite, fully immersive mentorship experience shaped by the world's leading performers, composers, and educators.

1. Private Mentorship
Work one-on-one with internationally acclaimed jazz faculty.
Customized lessons focused on:
- Instrumental or vocal technique
- Stylistic authenticity and time feel
- Solo structure and improvisation development
- Repertoire, transcription, and vocabulary-building
- Personal artistry, tone, and concept evolution

2. Improvisation Intensive Labs
Weekly, level-based labs that build improvisational depth, fluency, and versatility.
Curriculum includes:
- Modal, functional, and chromatic harmony
- Motivic development and rhythmic displacement
- Language drawn from bebop, post-bop, modal jazz, and beyond
- Real-time guided improvisation, critique, and transcription sessions
Separate tracks for foundational, intermediate, and advanced players.
3. Ensemble & Combo Coaching
Curated small groups rehearsing weekly under the guidance of a faculty coach.
Training includes:
- Interaction, listening, cueing, and time placement
- Classic and contemporary repertoire
- Ensemble role awareness and group leadership
- Performance readiness and rehearsal techniques
Select groups may be featured in virtual showcases and recording sessions.
4. Composition & Arranging Studio
Write your own sound. Hear it come to life.
Workshops and mentorship in:
- Small group arranging and lead sheet creation
- Big band orchestration and voicing
- Form, structure, and counterpoint in modern jazz
- Personal portfolio development and scoring for real ensembles
Advanced students may submit work for live reading or demo production.
5. Recording, Production, and Artist Identity
A complete modern jazz artist must create, record, and release.
This track provides:
- Studio recording techniques, mic placement, mixing, and DAW fluency
- Session planning and live production strategy
- Artist portfolio building: reels, bio, EPK, social media presence
- Creative direction, branding, and project release support
Optional one-on-one artist development coaching is available by request.
