The Mission
Why Your Voice Matters
At The Global Conservatory, we believe that world-class music education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of geography or circumstance. Our mission is to connect students with elite faculty from the world's most prestigious conservatories and orchestras.
But we cannot do this alone. Every volunteer hour, every intern project, and every ambassador connection helps us reach more students and build a truly global community of musicians. Your contribution — no matter how big or small — makes a real difference in democratizing access to excellence.

Voices
From Our Community
Volunteering with TGC has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I get to use my marketing skills to help students access world-class music education, and I have met incredible people from around the world in the process.
My internship at TGC gave me real-world experience in arts administration that I could not get in the classroom. The mentorship I received was invaluable, and the recommendation letter helped me land my dream job after graduation.
As a TGC Ambassador, I have been able to connect talented students from my community with world-class faculty. It is incredibly fulfilling to know that I am playing a part in democratizing access to elite music education.
I started as a volunteer helping with events, and the experience was so positive that I eventually became an intern. The TGC team treats everyone with respect and values every contribution, no matter how small.

Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all! While music experience is valuable for certain roles like student mentoring, many of our volunteer opportunities are in areas like marketing, technology, event planning, and administration. We welcome all skills and backgrounds.
Yes! As a global organization, most of our volunteer and intern positions are fully remote. This allows us to engage talented people from all over the world. Some event support roles may be location-specific, but we will always communicate that clearly.
It depends on the role! Volunteers typically contribute 2-5 hours per week on a flexible schedule. Interns generally commit 10-20 hours per week for a 3-6 month period. Ambassadors work on an ongoing, relationship-based schedule that can be as flexible as needed.
Currently, our internships are unpaid but offer valuable professional experience, mentorship, portfolio-building opportunities, and recommendation letters. We are committed to making these opportunities as valuable and educational as possible.
Ambassadors represent TGC in their communities, schools, or institutions. This might include sharing information about our programs, connecting prospective students with our team, hosting information sessions, or simply spreading the word about our mission. It is a flexible, relationship-based role.
