The Sacred Tradition

"Music is the universal language of the human spirit reaching toward the divine."

For as long as humans have gathered in worship, music has been at the center of spiritual practice. From Gregorian chant to gospel, from qawwali to kirtan, sacred music serves as a bridge between the earthly and the transcendent.

This track prepares musicians to serve religious communities with excellence and sensitivity — whether leading a church choir, directing a synagogue ensemble, composing for interfaith services, or exploring the contemplative music traditions of the world.
