FOR PARENTS
Parent Orientation
Everything you need to understand our platform, our philosophy, and how to support your child's musical journey at The Global Conservatory.
OUR MISSION
Welcome to The Global Conservatory
Our mission is to make world-class music education accessible to every serious student, regardless of geography. We connect students with internationally acclaimed faculty through a dedicated online platform built for meaningful musical growth.
Parents are essential partners in this journey. Your support at home - creating space for practice, encouraging consistency, and staying engaged with your child's progress - is as important as what happens in the lesson itself.
HOW IT WORKS
The Platform
A purpose-built environment for serious music study.
The Learning Environment
Zoom-based one-on-one and group lessons with world-class faculty. Sessions are recorded so students can review key moments. Practice assignments are shared after each lesson.
Your Student Portal
A dashboard for scheduling lessons, tracking progress, viewing teacher messages, managing payment history, and accessing recordings. Everything in one place.
Faculty Access
Direct communication with your child's teacher. Progress reports at the end of each semester. Parent-teacher check-ins available upon request. Your voice matters.

AT HOME
Supporting Your Child
Four ways to help your child thrive between lessons.
Create a Practice Space
Use a quiet, well-lit area with the instrument accessible. Keep a music stand, metronome, and a comfortable chair nearby. Minimize distractions.
Establish a Routine
Set the same practice time every day, even if it is just 15 minutes. Consistency beats intensity. Let the teacher guide what to practice.
Stay Engaged
Attend online recitals. Ask about lessons. Celebrate progress, no matter how small. Show your child that effort matters.
Trust the Process
Musical growth takes time. There will be plateaus. Trust your child's teacher and the process. The long-term results will come.
