Specializations & Advanced Focus Areas

Students may pursue deeper study in one or more of the following:

  • Jazz Piano: voicings, lead sheets, rhythmic feel, solo development
  • Collaborative Piano: duo repertoire, vocal accompaniment, ensemble playing
  • Contemporary Techniques: prepared piano, extended textures, new music
  • Historical Performance: early music touch, articulation, and ornamentation

All specializations are guided by expert faculty and supported by flexible learning formats, including asynchronous feedback when needed.
