Discover. Perform. Be Heard.
A new era of international music competition, open to the world.
The Global Conservatory is launching five international music competitions designed for the digital age. We believe extraordinary talent exists everywhere, and geography should never be a barrier to recognition. Our competitions bring the prestige and rigor of the world's finest music competitions to an accessible, online format that welcomes musicians from every nation, every background, and every stage of their artistic journey.
From solo concerto to chamber ensemble, from classical composition to contemporary songwriting, TGC Competitions celebrate the full breadth of musical excellence.
Find Your Stage
Whether you are a solo instrumentalist, a vocalist, a composer, a songwriter, or a chamber musician, TGC has a competition built for your artistry. Each event is designed with internationally accomplished standards, expert adjudication, and meaningful prizes that advance your career.
International Concerto Competition
The flagship solo competition. Pianists, string players, wind and brass musicians, and vocalists compete across four divisions for the Grand Prize and the chance to perform with a professional orchestra in a livestreamed final.
International Composition Prize
For composers creating new works in any style, from contemporary classical to experimental and cross-genre. Submit original scores for solo, chamber, or orchestral forces and have your music evaluated by leading composers and conductors.
Young Artist Competition
Designed for the next generation of musical talent. Instrumentalists and vocalists aged 8 to 17 perform solo repertoire in a supportive, encouraging environment with detailed feedback from every juror. Building confidence and artistry from the earliest stages.
International Songwriting Competition
Celebrating the art of the song across all genres. From art song and lieder to contemporary singer-songwriter and musical theatre, submit original compositions that showcase your unique voice as both writer and performer.
International Chamber Music Competition
For duos, trios, quartets, and quintets performing the great chamber repertoire. Ensembles submit video performances demonstrating their collective artistry, communication, and interpretive depth in the most intimate form of concert music.
More Than a Competition
TGC Competitions are designed to do more than rank musicians. They are platforms for artistic growth, global visibility, and career advancement. Every participant receives something of lasting value.
Global Exposure
Perform for an international audience. Livestreamed finals, professionally produced recordings, and global media coverage put your artistry in front of concert presenters, managers, and music lovers worldwide.
Distinguished Jury
Every competition is adjudicated by an international panel of principal orchestral players, acclaimed soloists, recording artists, and distinguished conservatory faculty. Receive written feedback from each juror.
Career-Launching Prizes
Over $50,000 in cash prizes across all five competitions, plus performance opportunities, recording sessions, mentorship programs, and scholarship awards that provide real momentum for your professional career.
Digital Showcase
Every semifinalist and finalist receives a professionally produced artist profile on TGC's platform, complete with performance recordings, biography, and social sharing tools, creating a lasting digital portfolio for your career.

Yes, there is a modest entry fee that varies by competition. Fee waivers and scholarships will be available for musicians who demonstrate financial need. Details will be announced when registration opens.
TGC Competitions cover a wide range of musical disciplines. The Concerto Competition includes piano, strings (violin, viola, cello), winds and brass, and voice. No. TGC Competitions are fully online. Preliminary and semifinal rounds are conducted via video submission, and the final rounds are livestreamed virtual performances. You can compete from your home, your practice room, your school, or any location with a quality recording setup. This is one of the founding principles of TGC: extraordinary talent should never be limited by geography.
Each competition will have a dedicated international jury composed of distinguished musicians, including principal orchestral players, internationally acclaimed soloists, Grammy-winning recording artists, and professors from the world's leading conservatories. Jury panels will be announced as each competition approaches. TGC is committed to assembling panels of the highest artistic caliber and integrity.
Absolutely. You are welcome to enter as many TGC Competitions as you are eligible for. A pianist, for example, could enter both the Concerto Competition and the Chamber Music Competition with their ensemble. A singer-songwriter could enter both the Concerto Competition (voice division) and the Songwriting Competition. Each competition has its own entry form and fee.
TGC will publish detailed recording guidelines for each competition, including recommendations for camera placement, audio quality, lighting, and file format specifications. You do not need a professional recording studio. A smartphone or digital camera with a quality external microphone in a room with good acoustics is perfectly acceptable. We prioritize musical excellence over production value.
