Browse 10 divisions, 14 instrument families, 78 certificate programmes, 9 youth ensembles, and 14 NextGen AI courses. Read full faculty bios — every teacher is an active performer, recording artist, or scholar.

02

Tell us what you're looking for

A short inquiry form: your instrument, your level, your goals, your time zone. Whether you're an adult beginner, a pre-college conservatory hopeful, a working professional, or a parent enrolling a child — we read every response personally.

03

A 30-minute admissions consultation

A real call with a TGC admissions advisor. We discuss your background, listen to a recording or hear you play live, and recommend two or three faculty members whose teaching style fits your goals. We answer every question about programmes, scheduling, parental supervision for minors, and credentials.

30-min consultation, no obligation
04

A trial lesson with your matched faculty

Before committing to a package or programme, you take a single one-on-one lesson with the faculty member you've been matched with. Most students choose to continue. If the match isn't right, we find another teacher — your inquiry doesn't expire.

First Questions, Answered

Before your inquiry

Is there a fee for the admissions consultation?
No. The 30-minute admissions consultation is complimentary and carries no obligation. Lessons and programmes are paid only after you choose to enrol.
Do I need to audition?
For private lessons, no formal audition is required — your matched faculty member will assess you in your trial lesson. For certificate programmes, degree-track programmes, ensembles, and fellowships, an audition (recorded or live) is part of the application.
What level of player do you accept?
Every level. We have early-childhood programmes (ages 4–8), pre-college and young-artist tracks, adult-beginner pathways, professional development for working musicians, and post-graduate fellowships. Faculty are matched to your level.
What instruments and disciplines do you cover?
14 instrument families across Brass, Strings, Woodwinds, Percussion, Keyboards & Piano, Voice, Modern & Electronic, and World Instruments — plus dedicated divisions for Jazz, Opera, Orchestral, Conducting, Drama, Ballet, Theory, and Composition. Plus our Health & Wellness, NextGen AI, and Pedagogy Institute departments.
How does my time zone work?
All scheduling is in your local time zone. Faculty are based across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa — we will match you with at least one teacher whose availability fits your hours, including evenings and weekends.
Do you grant degrees or certificates?
Yes — over 50 certificate programmes are available now, plus Bachelor, Master, and Doctor of Musical Arts tracks. Degree programmes are launching with international university partners. See our accreditation page for the latest on credit transfer and partner institutions.
