Sankar Mandal is a Western classical guitarist, pianist, composer, and certified clinical music therapist with over 13 years of global teaching and performance experience. Based in the United Arab Emirates, he works with students worldwide, guiding them through structured musical training while fostering creativity, confidence, and emotional well-being through music.

He teaches Western classical guitar, guitarlele, ukulele, Arabic oud, baritone guitar, piano, and harpsichord, and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali. Sankar has extensive experience preparing students for Trinity College London, ABRSM, London College of Music, and Rockschool examinations, as well as conservatory and university pathways.

A two-time UrbanPro Teacher of the Year, Sankar is also KHDA-certified in Special Educational Needs (Dubai) and specializes in inclusive teaching for students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and other learning or behavioral challenges. His approach uniquely blends Western classical pedagogy with Indian raga-based music therapy, supporting both technical mastery and emotional growth.
