Hindustani Vocals Faculty | The Global Conservatory
Suchitra Paranjape is a Hindustani classical vocalist and educator based in Mumbai, India, with over eight years of teaching experience across Hindustani Classical and Light Music.
She holds a classical music diploma from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Dadar (the historic Mumbai institution founded by the disciples of Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paluskar), and completed Music Teacher Training from Swarmaanas in 2017. Her training includes a short course with the late Pandit Jasraj, and she is currently pursuing Advanced Classical Music studies with the renowned classical singer Dr. Prabha Atre.
Suchitra teaches students of all ages — from young children (5+) to adults and seniors — with a structured, creative approach that emphasizes both technique and artistic expression. She offers online lessons in English and Hindi, welcoming beginner through intermediate students who wish to deepen their understanding of Indian classical vocal traditions.
Beyond music, Suchitra holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ruparel College, Mumbai University, and is certified in Early Childhood Care, Education and Development (ECCED) from Tree House — credentials that inform her patient, child-friendly pedagogical approach for younger students.
