Lorenzo Alessandrini - Master Classes

Lorenzo Alessandrini
Oboe Faculty | The Global Conservatory

Lorenzo Alessandrini is an Italian oboist and orchestral musician of the new generation, currently serving as Co-Principal Oboe (Second Oboe with obligation of First) with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, one of Europe’s most prestigious symphonic ensembles. Based in Rome, he is active internationally as both a performer and educator.

Born in 1988, Lorenzo began studying the oboe at age fifteen and completed his formal training at the Conservatorio di Musica G. Verdi di Como, graduating in 2011. Following his studies, he built a professional career as a freelance orchestral musician before winning his permanent position with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, where he performs regularly in major symphonic, operatic, and broadcast productions.

Lorenzo teaches Advanced, Pre-Professional, and Professional students, working fluently in English, Italian, French, and Spanish. His teaching is structured, creative, and goal-oriented, with a strong focus on orchestral excerpts, solo repertoire, technical efficiency, and professional audition preparation.

At The Global Conservatory, Lorenzo offers private lessons and masterclasses centered on oboe technique, reed work, orchestral excerpts, and solo performance. His instruction draws directly from real-world orchestral experience, helping students develop the precision, consistency, and musical authority required at the highest professional level.

Through his dual career as a principal orchestral musician and dedicated pedagogue, Lorenzo Alessandrini provides students with direct insight into modern orchestral standards and the practical realities of a professional oboe career.
