Vlad Stanculeasa is an internationally recognized violinist, orchestral leader, and conservatory-level educator based between Spain and the Netherlands. He is a prize winner of the George Enescu International Violin Competition and currently serves as Concertmaster of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, one of Europe’s leading symphonic ensembles.

Vlad has held concertmaster positions with the Bochumer Symphoniker and the Gstaad Festival Orchestra, and has appeared in major concert halls across Europe as both soloist and orchestral leader. Alongside his performing career, he is the Artistic Director and Founder of the NUME Academy & Festival, an international platform dedicated to high-level artistic development for advanced musicians.

He is a faculty member at ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) in Barcelona, where he works closely with advanced, pre-professional, and professional violinists. His teaching focuses on high-level technical refinement, musical depth, and career-oriented preparation, particularly for orchestral auditions and international competitions.

Vlad teaches exclusively at the advanced and professional level, working with adult students who are pursuing or sustaining careers in performance. His pedagogical approach is highly structured, detail-oriented, and shaped by real-world orchestral and solo experience at the highest level.
