Iuliana Surleac is a singer and voice teacher from Vaslui, Romania. She began singing as a child, studied music from the age of fourteen at the Octav Băncilă College of Arts in Iași, and completed her bachelor’s degree in Performance, Classical Singing at the National University of Music Bucharest in 2016. After eight years of classical vocal training she began teaching. Working as a vocal coach showed her how much more there was to learn: students came to her wanting to sing pop rather than classical repertoire. That led her into a wide study of vocal method — working with coaches across Romania, completing Cheryl Porter’s courses, and training in Complete Vocal Technique with an authorised CVT teacher — bringing each of them directly into her individual lessons. In 2024 she moved to Denmark to begin a master’s in Music Education at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.
