Divisions & Programs
TGC's curriculum is organized by musical division. Each division offers private lessons, group classes, and certificate programs at multiple levels.
Strings Division
Violin, viola, cello, and double bass. From foundational technique to advanced solo and orchestral repertoire.
Woodwinds Division
Flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, and saxophone. Technical mastery, tone development, and stylistic versatility.
Brass Division
Trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, and tuba. Embouchure, range development, and ensemble excellence.
Percussion Division
Orchestral percussion, drum set, mallet instruments, and world percussion traditions.
Voice Division
Classical voice, contemporary vocal technique, diction, and performance. Solo and ensemble opportunities.
Piano Division
Solo piano, collaborative piano, and keyboard skills. Technique, repertoire, and interpretive depth across all periods.
Guitar Division
Classical guitar, fingerstyle, and contemporary approaches. Technical fluency and stylistic breadth.
Jazz Studies
Improvisation, jazz theory, combo and big band performance, and the jazz tradition across all instruments.
Composition
Music composition, arranging, orchestration, and creative practice. Develop your voice as a composer across genres.
Conducting
Conducting technique, score study, rehearsal methods, and ensemble leadership for orchestral and choral settings.
Certificate Programs by Level
Certificate programs are available at each level of the TGC credential pathway:

Chamber Music
