This intensive, one-semester diploma is a global training program in arts fundraising and development. Designed for musicians, producers, administrators, and cultural entrepreneurs, it equips students with practical tools and insider knowledge to raise significant funding for artistic projects and institutions.

From major grants to international sponsorships, students will learn how to design, pitch, and secure funding with real-world strategies and personalized coaching. This is the essential foundation for sustainable success in the cultural sector.

  • Two 90-minute live Zoom classes per week

4. Cultural Diplomacy & International Funding

  • Working with embassies, consulates, and ministries
  • Aligning projects with education, peace, and development goals
  • Navigating compliance and cross-border funding systems

5. Strategic Pitching & Storytelling

  • Crafting compelling narratives for funders
  • Designing pitch decks and live presentations
  • Creating a short video pitch (2–3 minutes)

6. Ethical Fundraising & Equity

  • Inclusive approaches for underrepresented communities
  • Addressing colonial legacies in funding models
  • Ensuring transparency, ethics, and sustainability

Final Project

Students will complete a professional fundraising portfolio including:

  • Full grant proposal and budget
  • Slide deck for donor presentations
  • Short video pitch (2–3 minutes)
  • Optional live pitch to guest reviewers (arts funders)

  • OR equivalent professional experience in the arts
  • English proficiency (spoken and written)
