I am a Member of the Society of Music Educators of Nigeria (SOMEN) and a graduate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. As a potential Piano Teacher, it will be an exciting experience to offer my quota of music ideas and huge experience to the piano teaching faculty of this great school irrespective of the student's ages. I am so keen to be detailed in my Piano teaching and have been able to understand analytically how to instruct the art and craft of playing the piano. As a Teacher of Piano music, I am bound to the noble art of learning to think proactively about some of the challenging issues in Piano instructing and performances. The experience I have had in teaching the piano for the past 20 years has made me discover several effective practicing techniques needed to attend applauded performances for my students. Having played and taught the Piano for over 20 years, it is high time I pursue further Teaching advancement outside my country of birth in Piano Instructing, to boast my Teaching experience and professional credibility in the music world. I have obtained some music certifications in Piano Performance and Theory of Music from The Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) London grade 5 and the Music Society of Nigeria (MUSON) Lagos respectively. My unpublished research article was on Music and the Child's Brain in June 2017. My Piano teaching philosophy is based on the gradual pedagogical steps and stages of pupils learning the piano patiently and excitingly. Creating some fun-related atmosphere makes the student see piano learning as fun, a hobby, and not a strict subject that needs to be scary and this catapult to the keen eagerness of the student wanting to know more about the art and craft of playing the Piano. I tend to get my students acclimatized with familiar songs exercises or etudes to endear them to practice and long more for the piano as they play tunes they know (from the known to the unknown). Indeed I can attest that am a patient instructor understanding that each piano student cant be treated the same as they vary in their level of understanding and orientation, thus this has made me successful over the years and awarded a certificate of outstanding teaching performance from Harrryfield Music institute, Lagos, Nigeria in 2022
